Twinkle twinkle, little star...cca fair

" The star in YOU!" was the catch-phrase of this year's cca fair at PLMGS, my new school...
as we walked down the stairway from the hall, class by class, the seniors of PLMGS crowded around us excitedly handing out flyers and leaflets from their club or society . Clad in colourful uniforms, clown suits, swimming costumes( this was worn by the swimming club members...they mentioned that swimming was "sexy and safe"hahaha... i was grateful they were not in their birthday suits...>_<* hehe),and all, just to promote their cca. it was the cca fair and all of us, sec ones, had to choose which cca to join.the drama club had their clowns, hats, accessories, baskets full of stars (they sang "catch a falling star and put it in your pocket, save it for a rainy day..." as they threw the tiny and shiny stars at us.the npcc and st john's ambulance guides (or something like that) and the girls' brigade had just finished their performances on stage. the whole morning was so entertaining! anyway after that, we were allowed to exolore the entire school and at the same time, visit the cca booths. in the end i decided to join the band...yup, i picked up the flute during the december holidays.) oh yes... if you read the newspapers recently, you would know that PLMGS has just shifted to their new campus...complete with 8 blocks of classrooms and music rooms, computer rooms , bio rooms chem rooms, a gym which is open to everyone and even a track that really looks like a stadium, including the spectators' stand! in PLMGS, we are now using the home-room system , in which students have to walk around the school to get to their next lesson. in other words, the teachers will stay in their rooms while the students move around to get to their teachers' rooms for lessons. oh and we also enjoy 2 breaks a day, resting times and lots of other privileges! we can soon enjoy our lunches on their rooftop garden thing or something like that.the school's not really done yet because the principal thought that we should start off the new year in a brand new school. and of course, in a new, and HUMONGOUS school like mine, it's almost impossible not to get lost. once, after our break, 4 other girls and i were trying to find our way to the computer room for IT class...and we ended up going up and down, up and down and we were so tired! fortunately in the end we found our way there...but 20 minutes late! anyway i hope i get used to this new ground soon, especially since i have my trusty map!
